# Changelog

> Changes to the OSA Partner API.

`/v1` changes only additively. Breaking changes go to a new version and are announced here well in advance.

<Update label="October 8, 2026" description="v1">
  The first release of the Partner API.

  **Claims**

  * Send a claim to an adjuster by OSAID: `POST /v1/claims`.
  * Read claims and poll for acceptance: `GET /v1/claims`, `GET /v1/claims/{id}`.
  * Offer a pending or rejected claim to another adjuster: `POST /v1/claims/{id}/assignment`.
  * Optional details the adjuster starts with: the building and flood map (FIRM status and date, date of construction, flood zone, community number, map panel, construction type, number of units, first floor height, flood openings), the dates of contact and inspection, the special limits cap and the contents tax rate. See [Claim details](/claim-details).
  * An occupancy type and a building type must go together, and a policy can't end before it starts. See [Occupancy and building type](/occupancy-and-building-type).
  * The carrier's phone, email and address, kept for your firm under the carrier's name and printed on the adjuster's forms. See [Carrier details](/carrier-details).

  **Adjusters**

  * Invite adjusters to your firm and follow the answers: `POST /v1/adjusters/invitations`, `GET /v1/adjusters`, `DELETE /v1/adjusters/invitations/{osa_id}`.
  * Four optional notes on an invitation: `invited_as`, `invited_by`, `purpose`, `note`. See [Inviting adjusters](/inviting-adjusters).
  * An adjuster needs a first name, a last name and an email on their OSA profile to accept an invitation.

  **Account and testing**

  * Check your key: `GET /v1/me`. Service status: `GET /v1/health`.
  * Test keys and test accounts, for building against production safely. See [Testing with test accounts](/testing).
